Sidney Moore
This is a photograph of Cyril and Sid in the rear garden of the
family home 95 Southcroft Road, Tooting, London. Cyril has grown
a typical RAF moustache. This is an early photograph taken
before D-Day as Sid still has his leg. Cyril has his AC Aircrew
RAF flight wings on his dress uniform but he does not have any
medals yet. You can see his Flight Sergeant Strips on his right
arm. Sid is in his British Army Royal Armoured Corps uniform. He
was a Sherman Tank Gunner
