| 1881 Joel Moore senior has re married to
Eleanor Rignall. It seems to be a complete fluke that she has
the same surname as his son’s new bride. She originally came
from Leatherhead in Surrey, a farming market town south of
London. The Doon Street Rignalls came from Cambridge which is
north of London. Joel is 65 and Eleanor is 56. She is shown as
working as a machinist. Joel is still shown as being a coal
				porter.
They have moved to 233 Dagmar Road,
Norwood, Lambeth in South London. A 13 year old boy called
Walter Moore is living with them. It is not clear if his mother
is Lucy Moore or Eleanor Moore. If it is Eleanor then Lucy would
have died around 1867. Walter is shown having been born in St
Pancras, in west London. The Moores are sharing the house with
the Lockwood family. William Lockwood is a bricklayer and the
lodger Henry Dorley is also a bricklayer.   There are no census
records for Charles or his other brothers and sisters in 1881.
